State of the Council

Dear Brothers,

I would like to report on the State of our Council. Council #444 has been around for over 100 years. Our Council is an assembly of great men dating back to 1899 and before. Fr. Michael McGivney, our founder, was a man with a vision. His vision was based in the Catholic morals of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. These are the ideals and principles that we stand for.

I am happy to report that Council #444 is strong. We are vibrant. We are dedicated to our faith. We are dedicated to the beliefs of our founder, Father McGivney. We have had a very busy year. We have been true to our word as Catholic gentlemen that we would work hard for our priests, parishes, our Council and our communities.

We have had many successful programs that were in support of the ideals that have been set forth by our founder. We will continue to carry on with the traditions that make us an organization of great men. Our acts are designed to try and make a difference. Our Opus is to make a difference in the lives of others. As we celebrate the Lenten and Easter season, let us remember what we stand for. Everyday while with our families, at work, at church or at our Council let’s remember the intentions of our founder and offer up our own individual and spiritual intentions while we conduct the great work of our order.

Our work will continue. As Grand Knight, I look forward to the continued successes that comes with our programs and projects. Our Council is successful because of the dedicated efforts of all our members. Let’s keep up the great work and our sincere commitment to the principles of our order.
